I'm Kaitlin, the artist of Kaitlin Friesen Art & Design

I am a Calgary-based artist creating colourful acrylic paintings and detailed black-and-white pen drawings inspired by nostalgia, pop culture, local places, and the everyday moments that become meaningful memories.

I have been drawing and painting my entire life, and after spending six years as a full-time realtor, I decided to follow my passion and build an art-based business centred around storytelling. My work is fueled by the feelings and memories behind the places, moments, and experiences we hold close.

Whether it’s a beloved Calgary landmark, a favourite local spot, a nostalgic pop culture moment, or a quiet everyday scene that deserves to be noticed, I create artwork that helps turn memories into something you can keep and display.

My goal is to create art that makes your walls mean more. Pieces that spark a memory, tell a story, and bring a little more meaning into the spaces we call home.

I also create custom pieces for those who have a special story, place, or moment they want represented in their home.
